If you know me then you know I absolutely love Betty Boop and just about anything with Betty Boop on it.  Not only is she a sign of femininity and a flapper girl fashionista, but she is one of the most recognizable cartoon characters in American Culture.  Betty not only took the world by storm, but she did it while singing, dancing and being one of the very original American Divas, but without all of the attitude.

Footed Pajamas for Men, Women and Kids

So in my search for all things comfortable and sleepwear I came across a site recently which I haven’t shopped at yet but is definitely on my list.  It is called BigFeetPJs.com and carries nothing but one of our very favorite classic styles of comfortable pajamas.  The footed pajamas.

I was talking to my friend Kristin who lives in the freezing Midwest, well used to live in the freezing Midwest until she moved to Arizona the other week….lucky her escaping the cold, when she mentioned to me that she had a pair of these things called Snoozies.  I was talking to her about this blog and that I have been going on about cold feet and freezing feet which is why they got brought up…sort of but that is the short run story or version of the story.

Anyways, in my obsession to make it much easier to get out of bed in the middle of the night to use the restroom and especially in the morning on the weekends when your kids are calling for you and you have to pick up the phone, answer the door, etc… and the main thing is you don’t want to have to step on a freezing floor (for those of us without carpeting or plush rugs you know what I am talking about) she recommended buying a part of Snoozies.

She not only compared Snoozies to Uggs as Snoozies are wanna be Uggs, but she also swears by them.  Now Kristin isn’t one to really recommend something normally so I know something has to be up with Snoozies.

If you have ever had a pair of Uggs, they might not look good, in fact, in my opinion they are seriously not fashionable, but the one thing you can guarantee with most Uggs is that they are amazingly comfortable, at least according to the people I know that own them.  Anyways, if for some reason my friend Kristin is loving her Snoozies Slumber Socks and loving her Snoozies Socks, then there has to be something to Snoozies.

Although I don’t own a pair of Snoozies so I cannot tell you first hand if I think they are fabulous or not, I can tell you that I absolutely love the way they look.  The peace sign Snoozie socks are somehow fashionable, even if you don’t like peace signs or hippy clothing, instead they are kind of like modern vintage wear like an 80’s revival clothing which is huge again right now.

The other Snoozies socks designs are perfectly 80’s - 90’s wear, but instead of screaming you are behind the times, the actual cut and full coloring instead of strong contrasts makes them seriously modern to help develop and define the new decade.  These Snoozies Slipper Socks in my opinion are seriously fabulously fashionable and if they are even half as comfortable as my friend Kristin said they are, they are a 100% winner.

Emerson Street Pajamas For Women - You’re Gonna Love These!

So I went to the Chicago International Housewares show this year and was falling in love with a series of wine glasses that were hand painted and reminded me of the Character Maxine from the comic strips…you know, the witty elderly lady who always has a snide comment to make.  The other thing they reminded me of are a favorite collectible series that you see in all the card stores and collectibles shops at the mall and in catalogs.  If you are not familiar with Emerson Street, you may want to look at the birthday cards you have received, they are very well known for their birthday, cheer up, thinking of you and humorous card selection that can be found nationwide in almost every store that carries cards.  Even if you have not received a card from Emerson Street, I know you have seen one or maybe even bought one for a friend.  Anyways, you’ll recognize Emerson street in the pictures of the pajamas below.

When I was searching online for the wine glasses that I had seen, I decided to look through one of my favorite online pajamas stores again (Crazyforbargains) and sure enough they had a very similar classic favorite of mine, the Emerson Street collectibles line.   The only difference is that they have all of your favorite Emerson Street Collectibles in pajamas and on clothing.
