So in my search for all things comfortable and sleepwear I came across a site recently which I haven’t shopped at yet but is definitely on my list. It is called BigFeetPJs.com and carries nothing but one of our very favorite classic styles of comfortable pajamas. The footed pajamas.

So I am on a business trip and there is nothing I want more right now than a pair of really comfortable slippers. I am up north and it is freezing tonight.

It isn’t just the cold that is bugging me, it is the being away from my home and not being with the people I love. Sometimes it is the little things that make the difference and makes overnight trips away from home a lot easier. For me the thing missing is comfort.

My slippers are what give me comfort and with the seasons changing, the needs for slippers change, however the overall need to have and wear slippers to not only keep your feet comfortable doesn’t change, just the style, the colors and the shapes.

Winter time and cold times, or sleepovers are perfect for the full foot slippers and animal slippers that cover our entire foot and your ankles or at least cover the backs of your feet as well. For spring and fall you need something that is warm like that but also a little more lightweight since it is getting warm or had started warm but also starts cold or ends cold so you need a slipper that adjusts with the season. For Summer you need slippers that let your feet breath and the heat escape since it is warm out. Ok Ladies,I know you are about to be as excited as I am about this post. I was looking for underwear for my boyfriend, yup still with him (fingers crossed), which was a miracle in and on its own considering he hates underwear, besides these really tacky boxers he always wears, actually let me start with how I ended up on the Calvin Klein Underwear website in the first place.

So I met this guy and he was completely dreamy. He has a great face, a little chubby but still works out, a solid build, you know the type. I’m not really into the seriously in shape or out of shape guys, just the nice solid body with a little bit of normal person syndrome. That is the perfect body type for me or the guys that I like at least, plus you don’t ever have to feel self conscious around them. We hit it off great and when we started to get a little more serious, when it came time to start having sleep overs, not sex but sleep overs, I noticed something, he always wore the same damn style of boxer shorts, nothing new, nothing fashionable and nothing that would be a turn on.

Come on, everyone is college aged once and likes to have loose fitting boxers, but when we grow up our style and fashion needs to as well. When I asked him about it he said that they are comfortable and he just doesn’t like other underwear. Well, if you can’t tell I am not only obsessed with pajamas, but comfortable pajamas and sleepwear, and guess what, underwear also falls into that category. Ladies you know what I am talking about.

It is having that bra you always loved then going shopping for a new one and having the store clerk show you that you are actually a different size and hand you a new bra. All of the sudden your girls are in heaven and your figure is found again. It is one of those moments that I love and why I became so obsessed with helping him find underwear that would make him feel comfortable, show off what he needs to (to me only in my bedroom of course) and also provide the fashionable look that isn’t “frat boy chic”.

I went to the store and bought a million brands, ok a complete exaggeration to a million brands, but I did go shopping and bought a bunch of different types of underwear. None of them really worked for both of us except for the Dolce and Gabanna which didn’t work for our budgets, when we came across Calvin Klein Underwear.

Not only were they seriously fashionable to the point that I loved them, but they were cool enough and some were young enough looking that he thought they were pretty cool as well. Not to mention that I personally think Calvin Klein Underwear makes everyone look a little more sexy. So he bought a couple pairs, since you really can’t try underwear on, at least not lower parts normally, and when he did, it was like a beam of light came down from above. The Calvin Klein Underwear not only fit like a glove, but they gave him support, shaped him a little bit (especially his butt), they were extremely comfortable to the point that he went back to buy more pairs of Calvin Klein Underwear, and for me were not only fashionable but also kind of a turn on, and what was even better was that they are priced perfectly to be designer and not have to break your budget.

I was talking to my friend Kristin who lives in the freezing Midwest, well used to live in the freezing Midwest until she moved to Arizona the other week….lucky her escaping the cold, when she mentioned to me that she had a pair of these things called Snoozies. I was talking to her about this blog and that I have been going on about cold feet and freezing feet which is why they got brought up…sort of but that is the short run story or version of the story.

Anyways, in my obsession to make it much easier to get out of bed in the middle of the night to use the restroom and especially in the morning on the weekends when your kids are calling for you and you have to pick up the phone, answer the door, etc… and the main thing is you don’t want to have to step on a freezing floor (for those of us without carpeting or plush rugs you know what I am talking about) she recommended buying a part of Snoozies.

She not only compared Snoozies to Uggs as Snoozies are wanna be Uggs, but she also swears by them. Now Kristin isn’t one to really recommend something normally so I know something has to be up with Snoozies.

If you have ever had a pair of Uggs, they might not look good, in fact, in my opinion they are seriously not fashionable, but the one thing you can guarantee with most Uggs is that they are amazingly comfortable, at least according to the people I know that own them. Anyways, if for some reason my friend Kristin is loving her Snoozies Slumber Socks and loving her Snoozies Socks, then there has to be something to Snoozies.

Although I don’t own a pair of Snoozies so I cannot tell you first hand if I think they are fabulous or not, I can tell you that I absolutely love the way they look. The peace sign Snoozie socks are somehow fashionable, even if you don’t like peace signs or hippy clothing, instead they are kind of like modern vintage wear like an 80’s revival clothing which is huge again right now.

The other Snoozies socks designs are perfectly 80’s - 90’s wear, but instead of screaming you are behind the times, the actual cut and full coloring instead of strong contrasts makes them seriously modern to help develop and define the new decade. These Snoozies Slipper Socks in my opinion are seriously fabulously fashionable and if they are even half as comfortable as my friend Kristin said they are, they are a 100% winner.

One of my very favorite memories from my childhood was getting to watch the cartoon tv show Scooby Doo. Scooby was the reason I fell in love with Hannah Barbera cartoons and especially with Scooby. Footed Pajamas for Men and Women

Ok, this winter was absolutely freezing and my cat completely kept knocking my slippers away from my bed. So one thing I was thinking that would help both of these problems is to buy fleece pajamas that also have feet sewn into them already.

The reason I think that these could be the ultimate pajamas and solution for cold winters and people who have pets or even kids who like to play with things and hide things is that these footed pajamas are made of fleece which is not only usually a seriously comfortable and warm fabric…not to mention usually a really nice light fabric as well…but since they are footed pajamas, they should also help to keep your feet warm while you sleep, while you get up to use the bathroom at night and even when you are walking around in the morning or to go get the newspaper. The one thing I didn’t like about the footed pajamas though is that it looks like they are all one piece pajamas, but then again, not everything can be perfect.
