So I am on a business trip and there is nothing I want more right now than a pair of really comfortable slippers. I am up north and it is freezing tonight.

It isn’t just the cold that is bugging me, it is the being away from my home and not being with the people I love. Sometimes it is the little things that make the difference and makes overnight trips away from home a lot easier. For me the thing missing is comfort.

My slippers are what give me comfort and with the seasons changing, the needs for slippers change, however the overall need to have and wear slippers to not only keep your feet comfortable doesn’t change, just the style, the colors and the shapes.

Winter time and cold times, or sleepovers are perfect for the full foot slippers and animal slippers that cover our entire foot and your ankles or at least cover the backs of your feet as well. For spring and fall you need something that is warm like that but also a little more lightweight since it is getting warm or had started warm but also starts cold or ends cold so you need a slipper that adjusts with the season. For Summer you need slippers that let your feet breath and the heat escape since it is warm out. The slippers in the above from Sleepy Heads are perfect for people who are looking for slippers for a particular season and if there is one thing I wish I had remembered to bring right now it would have been my spring or winter slippers since it is still cold and I am feeling alone in this hotel room. I was talking to my friend Kristin who lives in the freezing Midwest, well used to live in the freezing Midwest until she moved to Arizona the other week….lucky her escaping the cold, when she mentioned to me that she had a pair of these things called Snoozies. I was talking to her about this blog and that I have been going on about cold feet and freezing feet which is why they got brought up…sort of but that is the short run story or version of the story.

Anyways, in my obsession to make it much easier to get out of bed in the middle of the night to use the restroom and especially in the morning on the weekends when your kids are calling for you and you have to pick up the phone, answer the door, etc… and the main thing is you don’t want to have to step on a freezing floor (for those of us without carpeting or plush rugs you know what I am talking about) she recommended buying a part of Snoozies.

She not only compared Snoozies to Uggs as Snoozies are wanna be Uggs, but she also swears by them. Now Kristin isn’t one to really recommend something normally so I know something has to be up with Snoozies.

If you have ever had a pair of Uggs, they might not look good, in fact, in my opinion they are seriously not fashionable, but the one thing you can guarantee with most Uggs is that they are amazingly comfortable, at least according to the people I know that own them. Anyways, if for some reason my friend Kristin is loving her Snoozies Slumber Socks and loving her Snoozies Socks, then there has to be something to Snoozies.

Although I don’t own a pair of Snoozies so I cannot tell you first hand if I think they are fabulous or not, I can tell you that I absolutely love the way they look. The peace sign Snoozie socks are somehow fashionable, even if you don’t like peace signs or hippy clothing, instead they are kind of like modern vintage wear like an 80’s revival clothing which is huge again right now.

The other Snoozies socks designs are perfectly 80’s - 90’s wear, but instead of screaming you are behind the times, the actual cut and full coloring instead of strong contrasts makes them seriously modern to help develop and define the new decade. These Snoozies Slipper Socks in my opinion are seriously fabulously fashionable and if they are even half as comfortable as my friend Kristin said they are, they are a 100% winner.

One thing that I noticed when my boyfriend stays over at my apartment or when I stay at his apartment is that he is always cranky in the morning when he has to get out of bed. The funny thing though is that it isn’t always, it seems like he is only really cranky in the fall and winter and then I finally realized why he was soo cranky. His feet were cold.

He would always complain when I would wake him up and ask him to get something and it was normally that he would have to take off the blanket and get cold, the worst though was when he would stand up. I don’t think it was him having to be out of bed even though we all hate that, it was him having to walk on a cold floor or even having to stand in the restroom if he would have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and the floor was cold so his feet would get cold which made me realize what would put him in a better mood whether he would realize it or not.

I went online to my favorite pajama shop which you can find by clicking any of the pictures or links above and bought him a couple pairs of slippers to wear.

Not only did he instantly start to be less cranky in the morning, but he complained a lot less about having to get out of bed. It was hard to get him to remember to wear them when he first got them, but when he got to start to see how much he really loved them, especially when he had to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom or when he was in the shower and didn’t want to walk on a cold floor afterwards, he fell in love with his slippers and now doesn’t go anywhere with out them.

I love the fact that I found what was making him cranky and he loves the fact that his feet don’t have to freeze any more when he wants to get out of bed or walk around in the morning and because the animal slippers are all at wholesale and sale prices, we were able to buy a ton of different types of slippers and I think I’ll end up buying him a couple more pairs of slippers this holiday season too.

Fall is here and Animal Slippers are On Sale

Wow Summer flew by fast this year. I couldn’t believe it when I stepped outside this morning and it was beginning to get chilly. I just went outside as well and realized that the air is starting to smell like fall and the cold air will be here soon. Although I am not a fan of cold snow and winter the fall is one of the best seasons.

It is full of energy and life and pumpkins and halloween. It is thanksgiving and family time and also when we get to wear jackets and sweaters again. I think the one thing I like most about fall though is that it is when we get to start wearing pajamas for fall again and more importantly since the floor gets cold we get to buy and wear new slippers and animal slippers.
