I can’t believe that Memorial day is almost here. Right after Memorial Day comes the 4th of July and then Labor Day weekend to close down the summer. Memorial Day is one of my favorite days because I not only get to see all of my friends and family, but it is the beginning of the celebration of the United States holidays.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, people in the USA are more patriotic than ever before, especially the guys. I’m not sure if its because the US holidays like independence day give them an excuse to BBQ, which is why they love to celebrate it, but I know that everyone loves to sing the national anthem on the fourth and everyone enjoys celebrating and remembering the people that defend our country, fought to give us our freedom and the people who work hard to make this country run. Summer is not only one of my favorite seasons because of the weather and getting to go to the beach, it’s also one of my favorite seasons because of all of the fabulous patriotic holidays where we get to celebrate everything that is America and the USA. In high school I was absolutely obsessed with corduroy. Unfortunately it was only a high school trend as now I think it is completely unfashionable to wear it as pants, trousers and other clothes.
